Who benefits from the inspection?
You do! You will know the condition of your home purchase and will save considerable heartache and expense by avoiding a “money pit”. You will also have a preventative maintenance “plan of action”. The seller and the real estate agents will avoid delays because problems, if any, are known up front. In addition, the liability on both parties is greatly reduced. This, of course, can prevent costly litigation and delay in closing.
We are very thorough
Our professional home inspection will identify conditions and problems and offer solutions and advice for repairs and replacements. The inspection is a visual examination and analysis of the physical structure and its mechanical components. We provide analysis and inspections of homes, condos, rentals and commercial properties for sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lending institutions.

Additional Tests and Services:
Cost
The inspection is carefully priced according to the size and complexity of the residence . . . and is small in comparison to the investment! A wood boring pest inspection is included . . . a considerable added value!
You receive a report immediately following the inspection
Your inspection report includes details of our findings in an easy-to-understand format. We have combined the best of the checklists and narrative style formats to offer you a clear understanding of your prospective home. Our report is easy to read and prioritizes the findings. This helps you know which areas need to be addressed immediately and which can wait. And, you receive the report at the end of the inspection!
We would like you there
Your inspection will be one of the most fascinating learning experiences of your life! By the time the inspection is done, you will most likely know the home better than the owner. We guide you through the home and educate you about each of its major systems and components. By accompanying us on the inspection, you also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive first hand answers.
We are your consultants for the life of your home
When you hire National Home Inspection Service of New England, Inc. we become your home consultants for as long as you own your home. We are available for phone consultations on any questions relating to the inspection or the home at no additional cost.
Our objectivity is assured
We do not solicit or perform any of the work we recommend, and we are not affiliated with any contractor or give or receive any referral fees. This assures you that our recommendations are objective and unbiased.
Scheduling an inspection
Because timeliness is important, we can usually schedule your inspection within a few days of your call. And, we perform inspections six days a week. The home inspection generally lasts 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Also we are pleased to discuss any concerns you may have prior to the inspection so don’t hesitate to call or email us with questions.
5 things your home inspector can’t tell you about the house you’re buying
- How much it’s worth.
- Where the lot lines are.
- Whether the house is on town sewer or a cesspool.
- Where the flight path is.
- Who the neighbors are.
Seriously, you have some “homework” to do. While we make sure the house you buy will still be standing when you sell, you can concentrate on the more important stuff, like that odor coming from the neighbors back yard…
